Notes from a Lone Person in Black

Dear readers and other People in Black:

Here I sit, alone (mostly) in the venue, waiting for relief in the form of a housekeeper. Outside the streets bustle with semi celebrities and movie buffs, bundled against the cold and anticipating the parties and movies they will attend this evening. Saturday at Sundance is an exciting time. I hope to share with you a night of drinks and dinner, films and fantastic happenings, snow and celebrity sightings. Soon, soon I will be with you, drinking some JB and DC, planning our tactics for the evening. TI, Nazi Zombies, and a multitude of other possibilities await.

Also, this show mix playing in the room is fairly terrible. Also, the view from our front porch is fantastic. Also, how's the stirfry going?

In conclusion, I'll be home soon.

Love,
Meaghan (Person in Black, but wearing red today)

Where's Jason?

We think he just went to the 24 hour Albertsons to get Wheatables.

What are those damn crackers from the 90s in the shape of an S?

Jason. Come back. Come home. We miss you. Please come back and crack our knuckles.

Or our dickles. Says Mary Anne.

MAGIC CARPET TIME!!!!

A pleasant surprise!

Do you see what we see?

CocaCola...and Pepsi? or DPDC? a deadly mix, try it... i dare you.

Fundance at Sundance

Even though we work 15+ hour workdays, we still have the time to enjoy the view of Main Street. The sleepy town of Park City, about to be infested by people in black.

Sometime Allison fights with the bubble wrap....and loses.

158 steps to home. Seems like 10 in the mornings, 1000 in the evenings after a couple drinks.

Home sweet home. And a house.

More to come. Keep an eye out for some "excited" drape...

Wednesday, January 14

Perhaps it is time for a proper introduction. We came from New York to Park City to produce an event for the Sundance Film Festival. There are 5 twenty-somethings and one boss, picked to live in a house, and have their lives blogged. We have 12 days here to experience all Park City and Sundance have to offer (without having any sundance credentials). We'll be going to films, and attempting to attend parties.  Keep an eye out for us, we'll be crashing a party near you!

Some more photos from our first days

This was the glorious Ikea in the mountains that we practically moved into. Sure beats Red Hook.
After 4 hours in Ikea, things started happening. Also, we saw over 15 pregnant women under the age of 30. Utah is the land of fertility!
Mary Anne and Meaghan had a very informative cab ride from Salt Lake City airport to Park City. Their driver, Brad, warned them of high-altitude dehydration, i.e. terrible hangovers, and prompted us to chug a glass of water in between beers.
This is the view outside of our front door. No big deal.

Day 1: Photos

Sampling the fine beverages at a local dining establishment.

A few of the people in black, at a bar.

Happy to be in beautiful Park City.

Well deserved beverages after our first day of load in.

Shorties by Shorty's (Stairs).

We have arrived!!

The people in black have officially infiltrated Park City, Utah. We've convened from our respective coasts representing LA and NYC. Keep an eye out for us, we're easily recognizable as we're dressed all in black with cell phones glued to our ears. We will dine at your restaurants, get sloppy in your local breweries, and park poorly on your streets. Are you ready for us Park City? Lights, camera, Sundance!
